J’s First Big Boy Bath

Friday, September 12th, 2008

Today we went to target to get some new toys.  Bath toys!  Tonight was J’s first big boy bath (before this we have just been taking him into the shower with us).  Although it did not go terribly, it did not go well.

He was not really sure what to do and what the hell was happening to him.  So, he was cranky.

He was so upset at first that Jazz, who is not a fan of baths and the tub, jumped in to save him!  G and I were shocked.  And he stayed in the bath the whole time with J, watching us to make sure that we weren’t doing anything mean to the baby.  I did not understand just how much Jazz protects J until that moment.

Here are the best of the photos we took from this event.  Enjoy!  (Be sure to note Jazz at J’s side in each photo.)

What is your plan for the weekend?

Friday, August 1st, 2008

J is going to hang out at the bar.

Later he has a gig.

And at some point he will play with Disco’s toy, just to mess with him.

Hope your weekend goes well!

My Boys

Thursday, July 10th, 2008

On Wednesdays, my boys stay at home (G works four 10-hour days now and Wednesday is his extra day off) and play while I have to go to work (poo!).

I guess yesterday G wanted to point out to me how much fun they were having at home without me. He sent me this picture.

My happy boys:

Please ignore the uber mess in the background. Pay attention only to the fun-having boys. Also note one of my furry boys in the lower left corner, blurry from motion!

G must have been bored, he sent me this picture as well.

My evil, freaky boys:

It is so nice of G to remind me throughout the day how much fun they are having at home without me! :)

My New Office Pet

Can you see him/her? This picture was taken a couple of hours ago and he/she is still hanging out with me.

Have I ever showed you the view from my office? Not bad, huh?

Hedwig! Well, kinda…

Friday, June 22nd, 2007
So, K brought up the subject of Harry Potter knitting just in time. I just finished a knitted version of Hedwig, my first Harry Potter knit.
Well, Hedwig doesn’t really look like Hedwig, more like a demonic snowman. Here, you look.

(the painfully cute furry thing helping me show off my knitted demon is one of my puppies, Jazz)

So, what do you think? Did I create a handmade hedwig, or a haunting holiday character?
