An important question from Jaxon…
Friday, January 11th, 2008Polka Dots and Puppy Pants
Thursday, January 10th, 2008When I was a little girl, I played with cars. I had Barbies too, but I am not sure you could say I “played” with them. The only thing I ever did with my Barbies was dress them in different outfits. When I was tired of dressing them they went back into their suitcase and into the closet.
Well, J is my new Barbie! Now, I am not saying that I am going to put J in the closet anytime soon when I get tired of playing with him, but the dressing up part is definitely happening. I look forward to looking through his closet every morning to find a new cute outfit to put him into (especially now that he is fitting into all his 0-3 month clothes). And since we don’t leave the house a lot at this point, you all will have to be the ones to appreciate his vast wardrobe!
Here he is in a lovely polka dot footed pajama. Very chic, right?
Today he is in coordinated puppy onesie and pants (pay no attention to the drool spot on his shirt). Don’t you love the puppy pants?
I know what you are thinking, “wow, she must be really desperate for entertainment to post infant fashion online.” To that I say, “yup.”
Jaxon says thanks for visiting and have a great day!
I am a human!
Tuesday, January 8th, 2008I baked today! A good sign I am turning back into a human. They are multi-grain mini muffins. Healthy and pretty! I haven’t actually had one yet, so I can’t make any claims as to taste!
Also, I realized I haven’t mentioned the puppies in a while. Well, they are getting back to a routine after the upset of their new little brother! They are mainly back to their two favorite activities: barking and what you see below!

Thursday, December 27th, 2007To Practice Swaddling…
Friday, September 14th, 2007So, as most of you are aware, I am knocked up. In celebration, one of my co-workers (who also happens to be knocked up) brought me a loverly bag of goodies. Included in this were bibs, a very cute fleece puppy outfit, a teething ring, two pairs of very cute shoes (I think I am obsessed), and a swaddling blanket.
On the tag of the swaddling blanket were instructions for swaddling. I decided that as a first-time mother, I need to practice this very important skill. A lack of a baby to practice on quickly came to my attention.
The next best thing? My poor puppies of course!
But would either one of them be a willing participant? I tried Disco first, thinking he might be willing.
Nope.
But Jazz?
At first I thought that it was just when I held him that he would lay still. Surely, when I set him down, he would flip out, right?
Nope. He just laid there like a slug. It was CREEPY. What have I done to this poor soul to make him so willing? I have decided he just trusts me. Yep, that’s it…
Did you notice my awesome swaddling skills? And on the first try, thank you very much!
Do you know?
Saturday, August 25th, 2007Do you know when you don’t return your cans and bottles for months, even though they begin overtaking your garage and kitchen? And then when you finally decide to return them all you turn it into totally organized art in the back of your SUV and then have the strong desire to take a picture of it?
No?
I do…
